I’ve been writing a lot more since I’ve gotten the machine in my apartment and I’ll be sharing some writing in the next post. This blog isn’t about typewriters as a dying technology. It’s so easy to portray the traditional and contemporary as having a gaping hole between them, but I grew up in a house full of antiques and I’ve always been fascinated by older technology.

My goal with this songwriting project is to strike a balance between my productivity and having an interesting methodology. One that is fraught with new error opportunities and a new way to move my fingers as I think to myself.
